Staunton Lodge #351 proudly strives to maintain the principles on which the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) was founded. We believe that “Elks Care & Elks Share”. Our community service and charitable events that include youth programs, community outreach, veterans services, furtherance of U.S. naturalization, scholarship programs and other Benevolent activities are the main goal of our members and organization.
Staunton Lodge #351, with over 400 members, is located in Staunton, Virginia , midway between Roanoke and Winchester minutes off I-81.
Our Lodge offers a dining room, club room, and on-site parking. We welcome visiting Elks and enjoy the reputation of being one of Virginia’s friendliest Elks Lodges. Stop by and catch up with old friends, meet new friends and find out what is happening around town. We hope to see you at the Lodge soon!
Our story is long; our work is humble; our history is proud. Please take the time to explore our site and gain an understanding of what it is to be a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Find out who we are, what we are, and what we do. As long as there are those who need our help, the Elks will be there to give aid and comfort.
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is distinctly American. It is a national, charitable organization founded on the principals of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity. Through the Elks National Foundation, which is the charitable arm of the Order, we offer five national scholarship programs. We offer youth programs, such as the Elks Drug Awareness Program and the Elks National “Hoop Shoot” Free Throw Contest. We also offer veteran services, such as the Elks National Veterans Service Commission and a grant to maintain the Elks Veterans Memorial in Chicago.
